NBC new Logo Design – What’s your take?
Posted by admin on January 28, 2011One of the interesting things that has come in for a lot of debate of late, thanks to the multiple available channels (twitter, facebook etc), is the redesign of logos, representing brands that have been around for a long time. First there was the GAP fiasco, and then there was the Airtel one.
If media reports are to be believed , here comes another one with the NBC deciding to do away with their iconic peacock and range of colors logo to give way for something more simple.

Another logo fiasco! Why do companies abandon a ‘a truly unique classic’ for a generic and ‘so-called trendy’ logotype? The new logo is no match for the timelessness and recall value of the ‘peacock’. The old logo still stands out from the crowd.
